R & D Jewelers is a family owned and operated jewelry store in Bedford Texas. Our story began over 36 years ago.
Roy was a traveling diamond salesman for 42 years. He opened R & D Jewelers in 1974 while his son Keith, was a senior in high school. After school and on weekends, Keith would work at the family business. It was during these years that Keith developed a love for the jewelry business. He continued to work at the store while he attended UTA.
After his father became ill, Keith with the help of his mother Dorothy and wife Cindy, kept the doors of R and D Jewelers open and thriving. His mother continued working at the store until she retired in 1992.
In 1986 they moved the store from Bellaire Shopping Center to the current location at Central Drive and Harwood Road. Today it is still run by Keith and Cindy Dennis.
R & D Jewelers is known for their custom designs and unique jewelry. Keith designs the custom jewelry and does all the repairs. At the store we have a large selection of bridal sets and wedding bands as well as fashionable designed diamond and gem color jewelry. We also carry a large selection of watches and watch bands.
