Empowering Victims of Domestic Violence to Help Them Become Independent

A HUGE thank you to our amazing staff and wonderful customers that came together and helped us raise $800 for SafeHaven of Tarrant County!

The mission of SafeHaven is to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention and social change. They provide services at no cost to domestic violence victims. SafeHaven offers a 24-hour care at two emergency shelters in Arlington and Fort Worth to families feeling violent situations.

The holistic shelters provide a comprehensive continuum of care for the women and children who would otherwise be forced to remain in dangerous situations. When leaving a shelter, SafeHaven provides survivors with a safety net of services and support to establish and sustain self-sufficiency.  Through housing programs, families can move to a secure environment while simultaneously obtaining life skills, education, and improved employment opportunities.

After volunteering at SafeHaven and learning through our own experience the remarkable and powerful difference that this organization is making in domestic violence victims’ lives, we couldn’t help but join them and rally for them to raise funds for all the local women and children in the area who need our help.
